Grammar Note 2

  • We use singular verb is, was, has and does with singular subjects. (noun or pronoun)
  • We use plural verbs are, were, have and do with plural subject. (noun or pronoun)
    1. Mary is a healthy girl.
    2. He was motivated with his discovery.
    3. She does  it almost every morning.
    4. There are millions of people all over the world who take their flakes every day.
    5. Many other children do the same thing.
    6. The patient who have eaten the flakes found it delicious.
